We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trade Qualified Painter to join our expanding team. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for delivering high-quality painting services, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a Trade Qualified Painter, you will be responsible for providing a full range of painting services on various residential, commercial, and industrial projects throughout Townsville. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting (e.g., sanding, filling, patching).
• Applying paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Mixing and matching paints to achieve desired colours and textures.
• Applying finishes using brushes and rollers
• Defect rectification with attention to detail
• Ensuring a high standard of finish and attention to detail.
• Minor plasterboard repairs (fixing & flushing)
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Working on call as required.

Essential Requirements:

• Trade Qualification in Painting and Decorating.
• Proven experience in all aspects of painting.
• Ability to clean and prepare surfaces to a high standard.
• Full open driver's license.
• Ability to pass a police check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical assessment, and drug and alcohol test.

Preferred Requirements:

• Working at Heights ticket.
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.
